Isomer of Caryophyllene
Interestingly, Humulene is actually an isomer of beta-Caryophyllene, meaning it contains the same atoms in the same number but in a different arrangement. The two terpenes are often found together in cannabis strains. Sometimes, Humulene is referred to as alpha-Caryophyllene. It contains three isoprene units, making it a sesquiterpene, and features double bonds.
