Bisabolol is a non-psychoactive terpene found in cannabis, hemp, and chamomile plants. Also known as Levomenol, it’s moderately common though usually not plentiful in many indica varieties of cannabis.

Two forms of Bisabolol
Officially, there are two forms of Bisabolol—an alpha and a beta. However, cannabis strains only include the far more common alpha-Bisabolol. Scientists classify the terpene as a sesquiterpene, which means it contains three isoprene units and is chemically like Humulene, Nerolidol, and beta-Caryophyllene.
Because of its use in skincare and cosmetics, Bisabolol has been moderately studied by scientists. While it is often associated with feelings of relaxation and skin rejuvenation, researchers have not yet concluded exactly what kind of benefits it delivers to users on its own.
