There are over 120 different cannabinoids and 100 terpenes that have been isolated from industrial hemp and cannabis.  The most notable cannabinoid is tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC for short. Cannabidiol (CBD) also constitutes an important part of plants from these types of families but does not produce any psychoactive effects on humans who consume them.
